All right, I'll take this up. There's a bit of a taboo when it comes to reviewing articles so soon after being nominated (especially seeing some have been up for a year), but this is an interesting article besides. Taking a quick read of the article, there are no glaring problems. All links are working, the article is stable, and all major topics for such a subject are covered. A couple minor complaints though. While it is hard to write much for a topic like this, (and it is impressive that you have been able to improve the article as much as you have), it seems over-detailed in sections. The article as a whole has information that I would say are trivial and not relevant to the main subject. This includes mention of fan theories about the secret formula of the Krabby Patty, which while an interesting thought exercise, is more fit for Wikia.

This also applies to the imitation section. In this case, it is worth keeping in the article.

Other Comments:

  • "According to the Houston Press, "The long arm of U.S. trademark law doesn't reach across international waters. Every country has its own filing process that must be followed."[56] Complex said, "There's one in Palestine, and there's really nothing Viacom can do about it."[57]"

-This comment is rather superfluous.

I'll add more comments in the morning. Jerry (talk) 01:29, 14 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I'm surprised someone has taken this up for review this soon. I agree but this is still very welcome. Thank you for the positive feedback on the article's quality so far.
Honestly, I have the same problem as you, I think some details are trivial too than encyclopedic. I already tried to reduce the Krabby Patty section in the past but I don't know how I would put in the writers' information about the ingredient without building on the fan theories. I made a new version of the section below, what do you think?
Trimmed down Krabby Patty section
Krabby Patty

The Krusty Krab's menu, the Galley Grub, consists mostly of ordinary fast food items, such as french fries and sodas. Its signature sandwich, the Krabby Patty, is celebrated and has become the favorite food of every character in Bikini Bottom.[1] In The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water, the unavailability of Krabby Patties causes all of Bikini Bottom to become ravenous. In the film, Mr. Krabs states: "The Krabby Patty is what ties us all together! Without it, there will be a complete breakdown of social order!"[2] The sandwich comprises two buns, with the patty, lettuce, cheese, onions, tomatoes, ketchup, mustard, and pickles between them.[3] The recipe of the patty is a closely guarded trade secret, which have led viewers to speculate about its contents.[4] Several fan theories have been formed to guess the secret ingredient.[1][5][6][7][8]

According to animator Vincent Waller, "there is absolutely no meat in the Krabby Patty. There's no animal product in there", something which was always planned by series creator Stephen Hillenburg.[9] Mr. Lawrence, a show writer and Plankton's voice actor, explained that the show's writers are not allowed to depict fish as food; he stated that there is no meat served in Bikini Bottom except at the Chum Bucket.[6] Tom Kenny, the voice actor for SpongeBob, joked: "Krabby Patties are hummus!"[6] Some commentators suggest that there is actually no secret ingredient because of Mr. Krabs' miserliness. Hollywood.com believes that it is "all a ruse that crafty Mr. Krabs came up with in order to stop Plankton from focusing on [t]he Chum Bucket. It's legitimately brilliant marketing!"[10] On the possibility that the secret Krabby Patty formula will be revealed in future episodes, Waller said in 2017 that he "would not count on it".[11] In 2019, Waller stated that Hillenburg is the only person to have seen it.[12]

I added comments from the Houston Press and Complex to provide some sort of explanation why the Krusty Krab in Ramallah is still operating or why Viacom can't target other entities outside the country. The issue here for me is that it's all quotes. I think if it's written in prose too, it can sound more natural than superfluous. Or if there's a context first that introduces it. What if we write it like this:
Imitation comments

Viacom has yet to take legal action against international infringement.[1][2] However, Complex said: "There's one in Palestine, and there's really nothing Viacom can do about it."[3] According to the Houston Press, "The long arm of U.S. trademark law doesn't reach across international waters. Every country has its own filing process that must be followed."[4]

However, what if they have really shut down a restaurant overseas then this comment may not be relevant anymore. What should we do? If you feel it doesn't belong, it can be removed. Mediran (talk) 05:12, 17 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Right, yesterday I had written a response, but Firefox crashed part-way so I lost that draft. Anyways as for the imitation comments, I feel like if you merge it into the first paragraph as a lead-in to the sentence about the Ramallah restaurant, it would be more useful that way. I also have an issue with phrases like "Complex Said:" or "Hollywood.com believes", etc. It implies as if these sources are people or pseudonyms, instead of publications. Something like "According to" among others would be more acceptable.

  • "...is celebrated and has become the favorite food of every character in Bikini Bottom.[1] In The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water, the unavailability of Krabby Patties causes all of Bikini Bottom to become ravenous. In the film, Mr. Krabs states..."

Needs fixing. The first section should be more "neutral" for lack of a better word. Maybe make it more about how the Krabby Patty is the main attraction to the restaurant or that the citizens love the burger to a comic degree. I would remove the section about the residents of Bikini Bottom becoming ravenous and mention more the breakdown of social order. I revised both of those myself, but as I mentioned, I lost the draft for that. Otherwise your revisions for the article are fine.Jerry (talk) 22:35, 20 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please look over my most recent edits to the article. Mediran (talk) 13:51, 22 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, everything looks up to spec. There were a couple of problems but I went and fixed them myself. I'm Passing this article, congrats. Jerry (talk) 19:35, 23 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Krusty Krab Article Status:

Quick question, I'm thinking of improving a SpongeBob related GA to FA status in time for the third movie, though I'm not sure which to do. You're in a better condition than anyone to make a judgement on this since you've improved the majority of the SpongeBob related articles (including this one). Any ideas? Cheers.

Thank you Jerry I would suggest Stephen Hillenburg's article. Of all the articles I helped become GA, it's the most comprehensive. It may also be perfect as a tribute to his legacy and a way to remember him when the new film is released. Another article I can suggest is the first movie. Good luck!
