First Kryptonite Man[edit]

Actually, the first Kryptonite Man appeared in Action Comics 294, after the first appearance of the Kryptonite Kid but before the Kryptonite Kid appeared as the Kryptonite Man so perhaps this this one should be considered the second Kryptonite Man (in either event he is not listed in the current article). He was created by Luthor and was called the Kryptonite Killer on the cover and in the story's title, but in the story itself, he is always refered to as Kryptonite Man. He was on a team with Diamond Man and Leadman. To my knowledge this version never appeared again.
