Since 1. Januar 2001 Charlottenburg and Wilmersdorf have been united to one borough called Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf [1] ans so the new official name should be used. Optimale Gu 10:55, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Removed[edit]

Its local nickname is 'Ku Damm'. Ku is pronounced the same as die Kuh (the cow), so this would be 'Cow Avenue' in English.

Irrelevant. It's Ku'damm, not Kuh-Damm. Homophonic association games don't belong into an encyclopedia.--Neg 21:05, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

russians?[edit]

wasn't ku'damm also the center of the russian exile community after the 1917 revolution? might be worthy of including in the historical notes section. if i'm not mistaken, the young nabakov settled with his family in chartlottenburg and spent mich time in and around ku'damm. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.134.64.143 (talk) 10:52, 26 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
