I'll get to this shortly.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 01:57, 25 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

OK, maybe not so quickly.
  • recklessly-brave the "ly" ending on recklessly means that this phrase is not hyphenated
  • Expand the name of HJ in the infobox to match that in the lede
    • Matched to the infobox. K.e.coffman (talk) 16:47, 26 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
      • Spell out the complete name of the division on first use and in the infobox, then you can use shorter versions.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 18:17, 26 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • anti-tank warfare and italicize this: 14. Panzerabwehrkompanie
  • Iron Cross, second class Capitalize the last two words and the same for first class. And capitalize gold in German Cross in gold
  • Do not capitalize Reconnaissance Battalion in the second paragraph of the Early WW II section as it's not a proper name.
  • Did Meyer get promoted into the command of the recon battalion? If so say so
    • It's stated as "Meyer's company was reorganized into the LSSAH's reconnaissance battalion and he was promoted." K.e.coffman (talk) 16:47, 26 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
      • Does Grenadiers say anything about when he assumed command of the battalion?--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 15:27, 3 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
        • This book is not used as a source in the article. It's an unreliable source anyway. --K.e.coffman (talk) 02:57, 6 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
          • Not necessarily unreliable for simple factual material like dates.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 19:42, 6 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
            • I do not have access to this source. It seems a detail not significant enough so that its absense would not take away from the quality of the article.--K.e.coffman (talk) 02:21, 7 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
            • Some might disagree with you about its significance and I suspect that it would be a major issue if you decided to take this to a higher level.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 03:59, 7 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • 20 February 1942 1943?
  • According to historian Peter Lieb, Meyer's rise to division command was relatively typical for the Waffen-SS, as the latter desired individuals as commanders who were regarded as ruthless, brutal, and ready to serve at the frontline. In its current position, this sentence doesn't make sense because Meyer was only a regimental commander when the Allies invaded.
  • More later--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 16:20, 26 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Move the quote from the Canadian official history to follow the sentence about instructing his regiment to take covering positions. And then move By 22:00, Meyer had set up his command post in Ardenne Abbey. to the next paragraph.
    • Moved. --K.e.coffman (talk) 02:57, 6 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
    • You moved the prefatory material, but not the quote itself.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 19:42, 6 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
      • I have now moved By 22:00... to the next paragraph; I think that's what you were suggesting. --K.e.coffman (talk) 02:21, 7 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
        • Only partially. You still left the quote and its prefatory material in two different paragraphs. But I fixed it for you.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 03:59, 7 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Change 1959–61 to 1959–1961
  • Alphabetize your bibliography and be consistent about using title case for your English-language books
  • Move unused books in the bibliography to a new further reading section
