Use only "Kwik Trip"[edit]

Kwik Trip/Kwik Star is hard to read, and regardless its not the name of the company. Its name is Kwik Trip, and they operate stores in the state of Iowa with the name Kwik Star. (This is no different than them using the "Stop-N-Go" name for certain stores.) I'll be making that edit now, and if you disagree, please reply to me here. Four words totaling a combined sixteen letters is not hard to read. Its name is actually "Kwik Trip, Inc.", so if you insist on changing that, the actual business name should be used. I'd argue that Kwik Star should reman in the first bold, as even agencies like Business Wire refer to the company in a Kwik Trip/Kwik Star way. At the very least, Kwik Star should be bolded somewhere in the lead as it is the defining characteristic of the company for people in a certain geographical region. And while the website domain may be Kwik Trip, everything on the homepage is dual-branded. I have no idea where you got the Stop-N-Go tie from, as that's a separate chain entirely. For Stop-N-Go, they were acquired by Kwik Trip earlier this summer, and have stated that several of those locations will retain the Stop-N-Go branding, whereas the bigger locations got the Kwik Trip branding. Definitely the dislike of Kwik Trip/Kwik Star is more of a personal thing, as using Kwik Trip alone is more clean, and still gets the point across. I did bold it in the lead paragraph. Founder "dispute"[edit]

I noticed a few IP editors changing the name of the founder to Hansen, from Zietlow. I have found a source saying that they both were co-founders CStoreDecisions.com and a source saying that John Hansen was the original founder, and Zietlow entered a few years later Madison.com. My proposal would be to just list them both. What do you think? JackFromReedsburg (talk) 00:29, 10 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Alright so I just listed them both, as its been 21 hours since my last post, and there haven't been any concerns. To be clear, I did use a reputable source to back it up (as you can see). Have a good day, folks. JackFromReedsburg (talk) 21:18, 10 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Consensus discussions run a week on here. 21 hours is way too short of a timeframe to establish consensus. You're fairly new here, thought I'd let you know that being bold is okay but the standard timeframe (i.e. various deletion discussions) to establish consensus is one week. It's definitely still up for debate if anybody finds a contradictory source. Willsome429 (say hey or see my edits!) 22:16, 10 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thinking of adding, the delivery.[edit]

So for a while now Kwik trip has been partnered with door dash, can order though kick trip app for delivery, pick up, or curbside. I know this is available in eau claire area, Menomonie, Altoona, Chippewa falls, Durand, Wilson, But I’m not 100% on if it’s been rolled out everywhere.

On another topic, diesel / truck stop locations may need to be added. With the roll out of a huge truck stop in Roberts and one in suburban Milwaukee, mid size truck stops with showers in Wilson and along interstate 90 and 94, along with smaller truck stop versions in Durand, Menomonie, Altoona, ect. It may be worth making note of. 174.213.160.217 (talk) 06:04, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
