Copy Violation[edit]

Hi,

I'm concerned with the amount of text that has been lifted directly from the LNER Encyclopedia. While it is mentioned as an external link, it is not appropriate to copy from it verbatim. Could someone take a look, as it violates Wikipedia:Copyright violations.

This has been taken care of (copyright-violating revisions have been deleted). Matthew Brown (Morven) (T:C) 00:08, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Assessment[edit]

Don't know if I'm allowed to rate this article, but it's now more than a stub and the locomotive is an important type. Will attend to the references.--John of Paris (talk) 12:54, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you're a member of the WikiProject, you can certainly do the ratings - even if not, I certainly don't care and doubt if anyone else sensible will. Matthew Brown (Morven) (T:C) 17:00, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Might be better to separate the two classes that had their differences--John of Paris (talk) 20:11, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am afraid I have no photos of any of these engines.--John of Paris (talk) 21:06, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Width of Locomotive[edit]

Was the width of the loco really 18 feet? That's almost 5.5 metres!! I think that would have been too wide even for IKB Broad Gauge  :) 2A01:4B00:F018:5600:4028:E5C8:E226:B37 (talk) 17:22, 25 May 2020 (UTC)Greg[reply]

No; so reverted. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 22:21, 25 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
