Is MSOE a member?[edit]

I noticed my removal of MSOE from the list of members was undone. Perhaps I was mistaken, but this seems ambiguous.[1][2] Perhaps someone who understands the situation better can shed some light on this. Edurant 21:57, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Lake Michigan Conference (defunct) → ? – There has to be a better disambiguator than (defunct), but I'm not sure what it is. (Wisconsin) might work except not all the schools were in Wisconsin. (NCAA) or (college conference) probably would work, but I am also not a topic expert so I would like some advice. I caught this oddball while looking for radio stations using this disambiguator. The other article with a similar name, Lake Michigan Conference (Michigan), relates to a conference of high schools; it's probably the primary topic, as it is pulling more than twice the pageviews. • That page looks especially loaded with cruft, though we do have other articles on Michigan's conferences. (For what it's worth, the structure of HS athletics in Michigan seems to be very different from other states—I did articles on almost every HS in Arizona and there is no equivalent to the structure Michigan has—and we have an article tree including most of those. A topic expert might be necessary to help me navigate that.) Raymie (tc) 06:51, 21 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

– After some deliberation, this is likely the best course of action. Better than "(defunct)". The high school conference is a WP:PRIMARYTOPIC receiving two to three times the pageviews (38 vs. 120); additionally, the undisambiguated title redirects there. • This is fine. Raymie (tc) 20:35, 12 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
