This information is wrong. The downtown of Lake Placid is located directly on Mirror Lake. Lake Placid is a seperate lake from Mirror Lake.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.84.69.20 (talk • contribs)

Fair enough. I've changed it to read "The northern part of the village of Lake Placid, New York borders this scenic lake." -- Mwanner | Talk 00:57, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
