Homer???[edit]

In the article it is stated that "Homer mentions" the inhabitants of the area during the 3rd millennium BC. As this is highly improbable, I would appreciate a citation please...85.73.254.70 (talk) 14:53, 9 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ancient writers used to mention facts that took place long before, this is taken from the official site of the municipality. - Sthenel (talk) 10:42, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Albanian name[edit]

The albanian name should be put back since it was historically a village of the albanian speaking suliotes. RoyalHeritageAlb (talk) 18:58, 27 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

No, it should not. Unless it can be shown there is an Albanian-speaking community there now. It's been 200 years since the days of the Souliotes, things change. Khirurg (talk) 00:50, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Going by this logic Apollonia should not have the Greek name since no greek lives in Pojan. RoyalHeritageAlb (talk) 15:34, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Um, no, that's a completely different case. That's not "logic" at all. Khirurg (talk) 16:36, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Im curious to see how is that a completely different case. RoyalHeritageAlb (talk) 16:55, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Because let's see, Pojan and Apollonia are different places, and that's why there are separate articles for them? Yeah, maybe? Khirurg (talk) 22:08, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
