I started this article because I felt that we neded at least something on htis important part of Irish history, but I don't have the in depth knowledge to write more than a stub. Godkin's book titled the Land War was published in 1870, but most historians wait until Leitrim's death or Davitt, i.e. 1878-79. The theory of boycotting was not exactly followed on the ground, and I'm tweaking that a bit.Red Hurley (talk) 08:47, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
