Speculation on LI Page[edit]

This page has been edited, removing innacurate information regarding the institute's finances.

The text

"The Landscape Institute is currently undergoing upheaval, as it is virtually bankrupt due to poor financial control during the year 2007-008, which ended with a significant trading loss in spite of record income. - - The Chartered Member, Gabino Carballo, is fighting to have the accounts and expenditure scrutinized, as seen in the GardenVisit.com [1] blog run by Tom Turner, of University of Greenwich."

is speculative, promotes one idividual and links to a blog which is not part of the work or professional purpose of the landscape institute —Preceding unsigned comment added by SteveKCole (talkcontribs) 14:33, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The 06/04/09 ammendment restores the original text and removes the innacurate info

26/05/09 ammendment deleting the entry "In 2008, it became apparent that the Institute was heading for bankruptcy etc, etc" was made for the same reason as the previous ammendment. The user who added this ammendment should also note that Wikipedia is not a news site and should refer to the tenants of use for wikipedia before adding any further comment. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Carlosestevez (talkcontribs)

1/06/09 ammendmentdeleting entry for reasons given above. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Carlosestevez (talkcontribs) 08:32, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Could we please have an editorial lock on this page to prevent this repeated addition of pov information. Wikipedia is not a noticeboard or forum and as such is not the place to announce "Members are calling for a new Extraordinary General Meeting". This ongoing addition of current affairs is tantamount to vandalism. --MrJerricho (talk) 13:58, 2 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
