Langha Brahmin tribe[edit]

Langhas are mainly gaddi tribe community in Himachal , they are known to cross several trekking routes from Ayodhya to upper Himalayan range and living in district Chamba (bharmour) known as dev bhoomi in himachal pradesh, they carry the nomadic lifestyle in order to survive, they are mainly shepherd, gujjar are also nomadic people (muslims)they mainly have buffalos for survival, they also move around, there could be a possible reason they are called langha as they move around , jaati means clan , jaati word is taken from Gyati word of Sanskrit which means known for , for instance kumhar are known by their professional skills to make kumbha utensils from soil, Gotra is main to classify history of the family origin Poetofresidency (talk) 03:49, 6 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
