This is mostly historical information and barely contains any information about the hotel as it is today, and seeing that it was built in 1865, I feel like it's survived long enough to warrant a page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by LHinternational (talkcontribs)

Please also indicate, then, why it's notable citing reliable sources. Thanks. → AA (talkcontribs) — 10:52, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Um, why are you requesting speedy deletion when this article has existed since March 15, 2005? If you thought the edits by User:Lhinternational [1] were too commercial why didn't you just remove the excessive links that he added (which I just did)? The deletion tag is not completed correctly, please check and try again. This building has a long history, including much of its time spent in the ownership of the BBC. I would be enclined to keep it. Kbthompson 17:51, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It was one of a series of articles on Langham Hotels where the only source used was the hotel's own website and there appeared to be a COI concerning the main contributor, User:LHinternational (who incidentally no longer exists). It read like an advertisement, although admittedly, this article has more historical info than the other ones. It seems evident that the AfD will result in a keep so it would be useful to add a few secondary sources if anyone can find them since the article is still lacking in this area. → AA (talkcontribs) — 19:16, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
