"In Romania there are several spoken languages. Beside Romanian, the only official language nationwide, significant minority languages include Hungarian, Romani, Ukrainian and German. These languages are officially-recognised in some territorial-administrative units."

Can you prove that this languages are officially recognised? Because I can prove that the only officially recognised language is Romanian. We don't speek here about what a user or another would like to be, but about what the reality is and the Romanian laws define it is. --R O A M A T A A | msg  13:57, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
We've already had this debate many times over. The fact is that these languages are recognised officially at local level, this being seen through the fact that they are used in an official capacity by the local administration, by the education system, by the justice system, etc. The article must mention the fact that these languages do have official recognition in areas where their speakers make up more than 20% of the population. This is different to the status of a nationwide "official language". Ronline 02:04, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The fact is that these languages are recognised officially at local level - Please argue this affirmation. Where it says that? I repet, the Romanian Constitution states it clear: The only offficial language in Romania is Romanian. And this means national level and local level and regional level and whatever level you would like. We had this conversation many times but there was not at least one argument reguarding Romanian is not the only official language. Please keep a NPOV and come with sourced arguments. --R O A M A T A A | msg  17:32, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
