32-bit limits[edit]

NOTE: The page states that 64bit OSs do not share the 32bit limit on the file system addressing space. This is blatantly wrong: a file system's addressing space is completely unrelated to the cpu's and internal bus' architecture. A 64bit OS can obviously access a disk formatted using a file system with 32bit of addressing space and thus share the same limitations. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.98.68.173 (talk) 12:50, 15 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for spotting this. I have just removed the corresponding sentence, since it did not really add anything to the article. The remainder of the text already covers 64-bit operating systems. --Matthiaspaul (talk) 22:41, 16 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
