Experiments in Television needs an article as a whole, many influential artists participated in this show (larry rivers, jim henson, andy warhol etc) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.108.165.23 (talk) 17:48, 10 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Article should be worked on more to include more information on the influential effect he had on many artists in the 1960's and 70's. Including Andy Warhol who he was close friends with up until his (andy's) death. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.203.12.4 (talk) 21:40, 19 September 2010 (UTC) this artist needs to be pushed up to his own article[reply]

it should be mentioned about his jazz career as well and his connections to myles davis

Try Miles Davis.

There should be a connection to the National Arts Club article as he was a member in that group and his family still holds tight bonds to it, as well connections should be made from his friendships with major pop artists of the 1950's and 60's esp. Andy Warhol.

Needs to be an article in and of itself, Mr. Rivers was a highly influencial artist who has been undersold because of critical negativity towards his persona, but not his art
