Greetings from Larry Welz new publisher Gavriel of Discordia Publishing. https://www.discordiamerchandising.com/discordia-publishing
I am not a good editor, and while its a conflict of interest for me to work on Larry's wiki page, so I won't, I do have some suggestions for anyone who wants to update his profile.
1. He is still alive and still doing new Cherry Comics. This article says 'was' as if he quit (or died). Which means every source that copies Wikipedia, and they all do, has been implying for years that Larry, at best, isn't working in comics anymore. This is clearly inaccurate. Larry steadily appears at conventions and signing events for all his new publications. Source: https://www.nmcomicexpo.com/guests/comic/larry-welz/
2. The Cherry Omnibus 40th Anniversary Edition Hardcover (2023), The first 22 issues of Cherry are collected in a single volume for the first time. Source: https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2023/5/26/2171606/-CHERRY-POPTART-IS-BACK-Cherry-Omnibus-by-Larry-Welz
3. Cherry's Jubilee Collection (2024) - Features the entire 4 issue spin off series in a first edition trade paperback. Hosting various artists and writers such as Mark Bode, Larry Todd, Marv Wolfman, Greg Espinoza, Leslie Sternbergh, Kate Worley, Leslie Sternbergh, and more.
