date of birth[edit]

AllMusic has Larry Willis born in 1942 [1], as opposed to Wikipedia's 1940. Turtlens (talk) 03:51, 20 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This article originally had 1940 as the year of birth. This was changed back in December 2008 by this edit [2], an anon ip leaving no comment. The above comment seems to have it the wrong way around. AllMusic currently has 1940. Wikipedia currently has 1942 and 1942 back in December 2011. Wikidata has 1940, using a reference from the German Integrated Authority File. Based on this, I conclude that 1940 is the more likely so I have changed the article accordingly. A reliable source for the date of birth would be nice though!
