This entry could use some work, and I'll help out with it as I get time. First, Las tres perfectas casadas was from a play by the exiled Spanish playwright
Alejandro Casona, who was living in Argentina when the first movie version was made. His part as a writer is not acknowledged in the wikipedia entry. Second, there was a 1973 version, in Spanish, but filmed in Portugal. I've only seen the 1973 version, but I wouldn't characterize that version as a comedy.
