Lede

• Good on the whole
• try and remove some of the parentheses to make the prose more fluent. e.g. Laufey was a finalist on Iceland's Got Talent (2014) before she was a semi-finalist on The Voice Iceland (2015). -> "Laufey was a finalist in the 2014 edition of Iceland's Got Talent, and a semi-finalist on The Voice Iceland the next year.
  • Done.
• Get rid of the citation; include the Chopin bit later in the article; all lede info should be repeated anyways.
  • Done.
• I know that the article title's parenthesised, but considering that this is the article that anyone who simply searches "Laufey" will be first directed to, a disambiguation hatnote is probably warranted.
  • Done.

Early life and education

• Remove the "currently", this is sure to date. Replace with "As of October 2023" or similar.
  • Done.
• Source 11 has reliability disputed - could you find a different citation? If not, I've seen NME at least mention that she moved frequently between the two countries.
  • Done.

Career

• Nice and complete, but this needs a copyedit to introduce some more relative timephrases, to consolidate the prose. At the moment, this feels more like a timeline than an overview. Things like "a month later" will help a lot.
  • Done.
• Source 22 (rev. 1202258491) doesn't seem reliable - is there any secondary coverage of this.
  • Done. Replaced.
• italicise "Alternative New Artist Album"
  • Done.
• Move the last sentence of the section into "Critical acclaim"

Influences

• I don't think this works as a standalone paragraph; I'd like to see this as a paragraph under a broader "Style" section or similar - I think there's definitely the opportunity to write more about how critics have described Laufey's art and musical style, her place between genres. I've also seen some discussion from RS' about her fashion; you could likely get at least 100-200 words on her public appearance etc.

• Both images are appropriately liscenced (I checked the YouTube one, looks like no-one's gotten around to it yet) The captions are fine.

I went through some of the charts record refs - they can't really fail copyvio haha, but I saw no problems so well done! Just find a citation for Laufey's Chinese name, and paraphrase that one point, and the refs are fine.

Misc.

• Article is about as stable as can be expected from a MILLION high-traffic page; no problems, good job keeping the vandals under control!
• Article is well focussed on Laufey; per above it could be a little broader.
• I see no problems with neutrality - where a subjective opinion is included, its author is close, and context is given.
