Opinion[edit]

"This process is far more convenient and takes much less time than launching programs through traditional methods of start menus and desktop shortcuts." To me, this sounds more like an opinion than a fact. --panth0r 16:44, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, I'd consider it NPOV. Anyone object to its removal? --72.43.103.251 12:53, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I think it might be worded badly, but I wouldn't suspect it violates NPOV if it means 1-step to launch a program versus 6-steps. It's equivalent to saying that a desktop shortcut alias is faster and more convenient than following traditional methods of start menus to open a program. --75.34.23.204 (talk) 07:49, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Article Improvement + Notability[edit]

The article desperately needs improvement and I'll probably work on it some more later. This is after all, a great program.

Too bad we can't use personal blogs as references because this program is all over the blogs of PC techies. I could definitely understand why a Mac user would doubt the program's notability, but it is pretty well known among more tech-enthused people. Hopefully 1 award and 2 mentions for annual reviews by large tech publications as well as a few articles reviewing the program will do the trick for notability.

I removed the notability verification template because I was able to find 5 independent references by CNet Download, PC World, and SourceForge. --75.34.23.204 (talk) 08:41, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Possible Error?[edit]

I think that the foxy.dll is no longer included, its functionality is now built in to weby.

Possible Error?[edit]

to the bugs content: im sorry, but the bug is still alive in launchy 2.0, even with refresh 0. Many usr revert to 1.0 because of this. I use it every day, it is still an issue. i re-edited the bug part. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.181.193.160 (talk) 21:29, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Recent revert[edit]

This edit made the article less clear, and removed a needed cleanup tag. It should be reverted, at least in part. Chris Cunningham (not at work) - talk 18:05, 2 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Very outdated it seems.[edit]
