GA Review[edit]

Lead
  • "At the 2008 Summer Paralympics, she won Singapore's first two medals at the Paralympic Games, both bronze medals in dressage." This line is repeated in more detail at the end of the second par. It also feels a little out of place. I would simply remove it, but am happy to hear of any comments you have.
Early years
  • What's an Elizabeth Dyson Prize?
    • Comment: I can't find anything specific on it in relation to Tan, just the fact that she received it, but the webpage http://www.maryhare.org.uk/?id=speechday_secondary states that in 2007 it was awarded "for progress and achievement". When Tan received it I suppose it was for the same purpose, but this is speculation. Do you think this is worth mentioning in the article? — JackLee, 12:40, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
      • I would leave it in, but try and explain why she won it, even if simply it says "she won an ED Prize for "progress and achievement" ..." It's an interesting fact and worth keeping. Peanut4 (talk) 13:13, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
    • Fixed! — JackLee, 15:02, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Medals
  • Is there any reason for specific dates for the top two medals but not the rest?
    • Comment: Couldn't find out the specific dates for the other medals from the sources, unfortunately. :( — JackLee, 12:40, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Only a couple of points, so I'll put it on hold for now. Peanut4 (talk) 21:24, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
