I have removed the claim that Laurie Brown is father of hockey player Karen Brown as the source appears to have confused Leslie Brown and Laurie Brown. An interview in The Times in 1998 identified Karen's father as "Les Brown". Source: Harris, Cathy (27 January 1998).
