" special Nordic version of Germanic-Roman jurisprudence."[edit]

In response to the challenge of "special Nordic version of Germanic-Roman jurisprudence", pro tem I would say: have a look at the map on the page categorising the world's legal systems. Arrivisto (talk) 10:26, 2 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Reviewing journal articles and talks by law professors on Swedish law it is clear that classifying Sweden as a typical civil law system is inaccurate. I have revised the text with reference cited therein to reflect this reality. Ohwilleke (talk) 21:33, 27 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Original research[edit]

Unlike most continental European countries, however, Sweden's codified statutes do not include a comprehensive Civil Code comparable to the German BGB or the French Civil Code and instead set forth statutory law in a piecemeal fashion. based on this link: https://www.lexadin.nl/wlg/legis/nofr/eur/lxwezwe.htm#Civil , which is an enumeration of Swedish statutes, is original research. The relevant section is tagged as such. Creuzbourg (talk) 21:04, 21 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
