About Le Réveil[edit]

Immediately at the end of the presidency mandate of President Amine Gemayel on 1988 the local of Le Réveil had been occupied by Lebanese Forces. A new administration took place and run the journal for about one year. A new occupation made by lebanese army (General Aoun) closed down the journal.
