Better overall perspective on lead time?[edit]

Disclaimer: (1) I am the author of the page listed below. (2) My company is selling a supply chain software.

The present quality of the lead time page is low. It literally reads like an advertising for the feature-catalog of some my own competitors.

A more sensical approach to lead times https://www.lokad.com/lead-time that I believe to be worth linking. Naturally, due to the obvious conflict of interest that I have, I will let someone else proceed if deemed relevant. Joannes Vermorel (talk) 09:36, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

An example would be scheduling the start of a 2 week activity dependent with the finish of the successor activity with a lead of 2 weeks so they will finish at the same time.

What the fuck is this trying to say? How does one start an activity dependent with the finish of the successor activity? 121.45.210.174 (talk) 08:50, 19 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Different meaning for different industries?[edit]

The article looks of poor quality to me because the same concept "lead time" has cover related by very distinct problems depending of the industry being considered. Not too sure about what should be done about this very page though. --Joannes Vermorel (talk) 14:19, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
