This change was unnecessary, unwarranted, and goes against the spirit of Wikipedia.[edit]
“Leading Man” and “Leading Lady” were two valuable articles outlining popular actors and actresses in each decade. The choice to merge the two articles into an entirely unhelpful “leading actor” article is entire unhelpful and they should remain separate. 172.58.158.5 (talk) 07:12, 15 February 2023 (UTC)

An effort to recreate Leading Man and Leading Lady[edit]
In concurrence with other users, I support unmerging the "Leading Actor" page to once again have a Leading Man and Leading Lady page on Wikipedia. This is no different than "Boy Band" and "Girl Group." Leading men and leading women are topics worthy of coverage and should include more than just decades based lists of actors. A reader should gain understanding of how the roles shifted over time. Nathanproton (talk) 03:50, 8 April 2024 (UTC)
