Lefkara Lace unesco heritage[edit]

used to be sold all over europe, it is still popular with tourists. Lefkaritika is a hand made lace from lefkara. Notable charcteristics are the hemstitch, cut work, satin stitch fillings , needlepoint edgings, White, brown , ecru colours and geometric intricate patterns.
