Untitled[edit]

I not certain of Viking theme are castle theme. I sugest the separation of this theme in this article. The castle theme are medieval central europe times, not scandinavia Antidermis2319 23:22, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

According to http://castle.lego.com/en-us/Characters/bad/TrollWarrior.aspx, it seems that there are no "orcs" in the 2007 Castle series, but indeed "trolls" and "giant trolls". Naming Conventions[edit]

There was never any LEGO sub-theme called "Black Falcons". That term is Lugnet fiction. Furthermore, the Crusaders and Black Knights didn't exist until about the same time as Wolf Pack and Dragon Masters; the inclusion of older sets like King's Mountain Fortress in Crusaders was retroactive, and the inclusion of Black Monarch's Castle in Dark Knights is flat-out erroneous. 69.109.221.32 (talk) 19:03, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The name "Black Knight" was used for one of the knights with such a shield on some of the UK catalogues from 1984 - the "Jousting Knights" set was called "Sir Richard and the Black Knight", and the Fortress castle was called "Castle Draco and the Black Knight". It might be retroactive, but the terms "Lion Knights" and "Black Falcons" have been picked up by Lego themselves for marketing reasons by now, such as in this post. [2], as well as the Dorling Kindersley/ Lego co-produced book "Lego Minifigure - A Visual History" (2020). (My edition uses the term Crusader instead of Lion Knight. Looking up the catalogues mentioned on [3] and [4], I tend to agree with DaveE's comment on [5] 惑乱 Wakuran (talk) 00:12, 30 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

There's also a somewhat ambiguous mention of "Guardians of the Gray Castles" in a 1989 US catalog. Its use seems to imply that it's referring to the Black Faclons (which is seemingly another fan-invented faction name, except arguably for ONE mention of the "Black Falcon coat of arms" in a description of Black Falcon's Fortress in the 1990 S@H catalog). However, it's possible that the description "Guardians of the Gray Castles" is in reference to the Crusaders as well, or to BOTH the Crusaders and Black Falcons, since it's not clear to whom the name refers.

Formatting[edit]

The sets at the top are using tables, while those at the bottom are using lists. I personally think the tables look a lot better. I converted one list to a table a few mins ago (as an IP user) and will try to get a few of the others converted as well, but I can't promise anything. Regardless, it needs done.
