Needs Confirmation[edit]

"A smaller version of Sentai Fortress, but placed in mounts of mountain, close of brigdes. Have one repair center and defense cannons." Okay, first shot at using this discussion page, so if I do something wrong. I apologize. There's an Entry for "Sentai Bases", however the only alternate model I've seen for the Sentai HQ, is the Sentai Tower. Can there be some sort of confirmation for this entry? Aoijuuni 02:04, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Antidermis, I would also like you to confirm where you got the names "Silent Eagle," Turbo Shooting," (which is officially called Link Transporter) "Titan Suit," "Fly Sentry" (instead of Sentry II), "Walker Digger" and "Meca Hawk." Did you make up these names by yourself? If so, they should not be included in this article until Lego officially releases names for them. If not, please cite the sources where the names come from. G.I.Zhou 02:15, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well, these 2 aks have 1 answer: I based in building instrucions in Exo-Force site for names. The Sentai Base are one model on first screen of Sentai Tower. There from Silent Eagle and Meca Hawk. These names I combiner from of studies to Hover Hawk and Fire Eagle. Turbo Shooting are named for I encounter in building instrucion of this. Titan Suit are alternative name, because Takeshi control the suit and he control Grand Titan. Fly Sentry are too alternative, because he fly short distances to turbine power. And Walker Digger are from to Exo-Force TV episodes. In being robots control machines to have appear like Fire Vulture. Ah, Battering Ram are Official, not Z-1 or X-1 Launcher machines... But maybe these names are turning are few popular, like Toa Mata of Bionicle, for in past are fan expression and now are official. But these vehicles not have truth official names. The real names of these machines are totally unknown. Antidermis2319 04:26, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
(P.S.: G.I.Zhou, I supposed you have enough edits for became a wikipedian)
Antidermis, so you are essentially saying you made up the names yourself. Let me point out a few facts that you may not be aware of: 1) The "Sentai Base" that you named on Lego's website is actually an image of a prototype model of the final Sentai Fortress set. It is not an official alternative model. 2) What you call "Turbo Shooting" has officially been named "Link Transporter" on all the Uplink boxes sold in N. America. Let me know if a different name appears on the packaging in Brazil? 3) "Battering Ram" appears on the online product description page for Gate Assault but is not the final name. The Lego Magazine and Exo-Force author Greg Fushtey have officially confirmed the names of Robot Rammer and Sentry II for the Gate Assault set.
Let me say that I appreciate your hard work on this article and creativity making up your own names (many actually sound quite cool) for the models. The problem is that people come to this article for facts about Exo-Force, and right now some of the info on this page is from one fan's (your) imagination. This can become a source of confusion for someone new to Exo-Force. Lego actually does come up with official names, but in some cases (like the X-1 Robot Rammer and Sentry II in the Gate Assault set), the names do not appear for months after the set's release. I am hoping that you will voluntarily remove the names you have created and wait patiently for names that will eventually appear. Please also be open to allow others to make changes to this article to make it more concise and easier to read. G.I.Zhou 05:15, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
G.I.Zhou, I living in the middle of Amazonia... and commerciants saids Lego Brazil as failed and the factory in Manaus as closed. The boxes are not translate here. Portuguese are very difficult to translate for English. But I untersdant your recal. I part of Lego Wikiproject and I editing the themes of all collections. But here I finish my work (add products).--Antidermis2319 16:29, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your understanding and cooperation! I'm sorry to hear about your difficult situation finding Lego sets in Brazil. If you would like to know the latest news about Exo-Force, I'd suggest you check out the official Exo-Force thread at the BZP forums, as many people there have hands-on experience with the sets.
I have made several edits today using official info from the Lego website (including using the Hong Kong TRU website for the Devastator and Iron Drone descriptions that don't show up on the official English website). I would also suggest we eventually combine elements of your "Vehicle and Bases" "Lego Sets" and "Alternative Models" as much of the info is repetitiveG.I.Zhou 05:15, 13 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Do you and Aoijuuni make better. Now my work here are finish. And protect this to IPs. They love to vandalized in this areas. Thanks Antidermis2319 01:21, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Merge?[edit]

The article cited to be merged isn't the same thing as Lego Exo-Force, and thus shouldn't be merged. It's okay to have a stub about a character. --Disavian 15:04, 27 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, by WP:FICT, it's not always best to have separate articles for every character, only if the main article would be too long otherwise. --Christopherlin 23:57, 28 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You win. {{afd}} the character. --Disavian 00:09, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Merged. --Christopherlin 00:22, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey 71.156.95.139, I merged the info from the individual character pages (taken from the short videos), so you can make those pages redirect to this main page if you like.G.I.Zhou 04:34, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Stop!!!!![edit]

stop this, 75.2.54.244, these images are wrong. and Images to edit here don't have COPYRIGHT!! Antidermis2319 16:56, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WOAANN[edit]

These are best worker can I view in another Lego page, more than Bionicle! But Zhou, images are difficult to put in article? I don't known to do this. Thanks Antidermis2319 19:39, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Antidermis. I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Are you saying you don't know how to put images in the article? I think you did a good job with the light brick picture, and it was a good idea to include it. However, I am once again going to remove the "unconfirmed names" of some of the battle machines. Also, we do not need to mention which battle machine each character pilots because it can be found under the "Toys" section. G.I.Zhou 04:10, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

These light brick I found in Commons. I ask for help Drakhan put images in Bionicle, but now he known. The machines names are put for one IP user, not I. Thanks Antidermis2319 15:50, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

For anyone who is uncertain[edit]

If you are uncertain if you want to buy this because it is a LEGO set but you don't like anime, this is one person's opinion. This person is a known lego builder and was mentioned in a few videogame magazines (OXM, PSM, EDGE) for his video game customs (Halo, Halo 2, Metal Gear Solids 1-4). The link is: http://www.saber-scorpion.com/rants_anime1.htm

Exo-Force is at the end.74.96.212.21 23:07, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why did we delete all the pronunciations?[edit]

17 November 2006 I put in: Sentai Mountain (sen-ty mountain) Hikaru (hee-kah-loo) Takeshi (tah-kah-shee) Ryo (lee-oh, like 'Leo') Ha-Ya-To (hah-yah-toh) & hayatochiri (hah-yah-toh-chee-lee) Keiken (kay-ken) Tenchi (ten-chee)

Reason I did this...Wikipedia is suppose to be a reference. I came to Wilipedia & it didn't have the pronunciations. So...I went and got them, punched them in...and we deleted them why?

Do we want the non-Japanese people running around saying sent-A-I? :)

Please put them back, be a true refernece, and save some hearing damage. Imlookingnow 04:42, 5 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

We've got IPA for pronunciations, and yours are wrong. MSJapan 20:22, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No IPA in the Characters Section, or in the Main Section at the top. I did see an attempt someone just started in the Criticism Section(?). If someone starts reading "Sentai" and they don't know how to pronouce it, they are going to another website that can. Not to the Commentary Section to discuss something that they know nothing about.
The line, "...On Sentai (戦隊 "battle squad") Mountain, there was a peaceful civilization..."
might better read, "...On Sentai (sen-ty 戦隊 battle squad) Mountain, there was a peaceful civilization..."
I'm missing it? Sen-ty is not there. Imlookingnow 03:14, 11 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Can someone confirm the pronuncations for the following as correct? I admit, I did pull them off a Japanese speaking website. They may not be the American pronuciations.
  • Sentai Mountain (sen-ty mountain)
  • Hikaru (hee-kah-loo)
  • Takeshi (tah-kah-shee)
  • Ryo (lee-oh, like 'Leo')
  • Ha-Ya-To (hah-yah-toh)
  • Hayatochiri (hah-yah-toh-chee-lee)
  • Keiken (kay-ken)
  • Tenchi (ten-chee) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Imlookingnow (talkcontribs) 17:50, 13 January 2007 (UTC).[reply]
Half-right.

Sen-TAY Hick-ARR-ooo Tah-Kesh-EE Ree-oh Hah-Yah-Toh Hah-Yah-Toh-Chee-Ree Khai-Ken Ten-Chee

Pictures[edit]

There are pictures of the sets all over the Internet, why doesn't Wikipedia have them? Machine758 20:55, 30 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I dunno,we should upload them --Melman the cat 09:56, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Code bricks[edit]

I have 2 questions about code bricks

1) should we post the codes?

2) should we post the stuff in the codes(eg. profiles)--Melman the cat 09:59, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Don´t mind so. Every one should find out himself whats the stuff of the codes is.

Story[edit]

can i make a summary for the comics ?--Melman the cat 10:08, 30 May 2007 (UTC) I don´t think so. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.187.244.232 (talk) 18:58, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Canceled[edit]

Does anyone know for sure why exo-force is suddenly being canceled?-09Murphym —Preceding unsigned comment added by 09MurphyM (talkcontribs) 10:15, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This was on Brickset:

"You may have read elsewhere the announcement from Jan Beyer, Community Development Manager, LEGO:

"Regarding the low sales of the EXO FORCE line, the decision was made to stop the line at the end of 2008. The sales were good in 2006 but in 2007 the sales did not meet the expectations and the expectation was that even an expensive marketing campaign could not get the sales to the expected level." That suprises me for two reasons. First, it's unusual to get such an annoucement about the end of a product line. I don't recall seeing something similar for Vikings, for example. Second, I'm really surprised that Exo-Force aren't selling! I for one love them and I know a lot of you do too. I guess the target audience, boys 7-10, prefer Bionicle. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.187.196.253 (talk) 12:20, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Note about set count[edit]

Hi Striker2020 I just wanted to make you aware that BrickLink can give a false set count because it includes duplicates of the same set number and also includes multi-set collections. So for Exo-Force the count is more like 38 rather than 50. It's best to manually count the sets in the BrickLink list to get an accurate number. Fieryninja (talk) 07:39, 5 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Fieryninja sorry I forgot to recheck the set count from the BrickLink. Next time I will be more careful. Striker2020 (talk) 09:04, 5 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Striker2020 It's no problem. I'm not sure if the Bricklink count is accurate, as the Brickeconomy count is 43. Fieryninja (talk) 09:33, 5 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
