There is already a 'Lego Minifigure' page. Is there no reason to create or add new theme/page/section regarding to Lego minigures. GoTLG (talk) 09:12, 31 May 2010 (UTC)

This article is not about general Lego minifigures, but about the new Lego theme, which is called "Minifigures". I understand that it is a bit confusing, but Lego Minifigure is a different subject than Lego Minifigures. Heavy-handed editing?

On November 30th 2010 I (as IP# 84.208.114.126) added some information about the figures and packaging to the "Details" section of the article, before that the section consisted of just two sentences. On December 11th another anonymous user (IP# 76.26.140.44) did major modifications to the text, as a "Grammatical cleanup". On one side, English is only a second language to me, so I understand that my text may have been less than perfectly written. On the other side I'm a bit disappointed that my grammar is THAT poor that such extensive editing was necessary. While the new version has more sophisticated language and some places is more to-the-point, I feel it other places sounds a bit over-convoluted. I especially dislike the use of the term "figurine", which I think more describes a small statue than a toy figure. The article on "Figurine" seems to support me in this, as it says "Figures with movable parts, allowing limbs to be posed, are more likely to be called dolls, mannequins, or action figures". So, I'm not writing this to complain, but I would suggest someone looked at both versions in order to possibly combine the best of them both.

BTW, should the "References" and "External links" sections be cleaned up a bit? Right now four of the eight links leads to minifigures.lego.com (#5 and #6 even to the same page), I don't know for how long link #2 will be available (it leads to the shop page for Series 1 which is sold out long ago), and link #7 doesn't work at all. It leads to legowikia.com, but this is just a placeholder page, and there's a space between the dot and the com. The actual lego-wiki entry on these figures is at lego.wikia.com/wiki/Collectable_Minifigures.
