Bright's history[edit]

Any history on Bright's Department Store? It was in downtown Lehighton until the mall opened and it was purchased by Laneco in 1991. Laneco closed Bright's before WalMart even broke ground at its original site across Blakeslee Blvd where Lowe's opened last month. My mother grew up in Lehighton (as both of her deceased parents did) and does not remember that much of the old Lehighton retail scene. We now live in Allentown. Heff01 (talk) 04:15, 24 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
