Notice to editors to avoid confusing between the various personalities named Lehna Singh (or Lahina Singh) from this era with Lehna Singh Majithia[edit]

I just removed a large section of the intro due to it being misattributed to Lehna Singh Majithia and actually it was about a different Lehna Singh, who was actually a triumvirate governor of Lahore and was the son of Dargaha but adopted by Gurbakhsh Singh Roranvala.

I will list some Lehna Singhs from around Lehna Singh Majithia's era so editors can cross-reference and cross-check to ensure information is not being misattributed to different people due to confusion over a similar name:

  1. Lehna Singh Majithia (d. 1854), son of Desa Singh Majithia and the subject of this article - Article: https://www.thesikhencyclopedia.com/biographical/sikh-political-figures/lahina-singh-majithia/
  2. Lehna Singh (d. 1797), son of Dargaha but adopted by Gurbakhsh Singh Roranvala - Article: https://www.thesikhencyclopedia.com/biographical/sikh-political-figures/lahina-singh/
  3. Lehna Singh Sandhawalia (d. 1843), son of Amir Singh Sandhawalia - Article: https://www.thesikhencyclopedia.com/biographical/sikh-political-figures/lahina-singh-sandhanvalia/
  4. Lahina Singh (d. 1893), son of Kahn Singh and Kishan Kaur - Article: https://www.thesikhencyclopedia.com/biographical/sikh-political-figures/lahina-singh-sardar/
  5. Sardar Lehna Singh (1825–1916), son of S. Ganga Ram
