I'll review this.

  • "Horvath was born to Hungarian immigrants in South Bend, Indiana in 1921, but his family soon moved to Parma, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio", not sure about the use of 'but' here – his birthplace will never change and his family were still immigrants when they moved. I'd suggest removing it and replacing the comma with a semicolon.
  • "Horvath was small for a football player", was considered small? As you may tell I'm not very educated about American football -- was his eligibility an anomaly, or are small players the norm in the sport now?
  • "senior halfback Tom Kinkade got most of the carries for Ohio State", wikilink this term as readers outside America/novices to American football may not understand.
  • "Ohio State's football program, meanwhile, struggled in 1943 after Paul Brown", same under 'Military' section → "where he practiced dentistry and acted as an assistant to Paul Brown"
  • Little league is not hyphenated

A nicely written and well structured article. No dab or dead links, nor could I find any issues with references and spotchecking. Will pass once comments have been addressed, on hold until then. Lemonade51 (talk) 14:42, 5 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Issues fixed, sans the size issue. Not sure how to explain it better. Nowadays, unless you're solely a player used to run in a straight line down the field for your speed, you're not really going to see players of his size in the game. It was less rare in his time to have a player of his size, actually, which makes the size concerns back then more surprising to a lay reader, i would imagine; at least that's how i interpreted it. Thanks for the review! Wizardman 15:56, 7 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Cheers for the explanation, happy to pass now. Lemonade51 (talk) 18:49, 7 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
