Is it really necessary to drop the accent from Les stances à Sophie? It's clearly French, why not just write it that way despite the lack of an accent on the all-caps album cover? Srnec (talk) 04:02, 24 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Years later, (I edited recently the page to add the original piece name for the monteverdi's variation). I would totally agree with you (I'm french native speaker), also, I have a 2008 CD re-issue, in the booklet describing the context/movie/recording, it's written like this "Les Stances A Sophies", which makes not much sense too from a french speaker perspective. Would 'à' be seen "too uncommon" for english speaker ? EmmanuelIstace (talk) 09:51, 14 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
