Adding content from references

There is an awful lot of content in the references that can be pulled out into the article...-- The Robot Champion  talk to me  22:18, 19 June 2011 (UTC)

Proposed article expansion

The current version of this article is very short and could be a lot better, so I've put together a proposed replacement and expansion for this article, which is available in my user space, here: User:WWB_Too/Leslie_Bradshaw

Now, I happen to be a friend and business associate of Ms. Bradshaw, and I've agreed to improve this article for her. Despite the potential COI in play, I have intended to write this article in as neutral a manner as possible, following Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for WP:BLP and MOS:BIO, with effort made to avoid peacock terms or a promotional tone in genera, and all facts are carefully cited.

I don't think there's anything too controversial here, but I am probably a little too close to this topic to be impartial. Please feel free to make changes, and let me know if you think it is ready. I'm going to seek input on more active project pages, but if there is no response, eventually I will copy over the new draft myself. Cheers, WWB Too (talk) 18:39, 31 October 2011 (UTC)

More quickly than expected, I received a favorable response from an editor on WP:COI/N, so I have now moved it over. As I stated there, I am open to any constructive edits or suggestions by other editors. In such a case, please try me here (I have the page watchlisted) or on my user Talk page. --WWB Too (talk) 20:40, 31 October 2011 (UTC)

Recent recognition to add

{{request edit}}

Hi, I'm looking for help adding some new information to this article. I would make the edit myself but I am proposing these additions on behalf of her company, JESS3. Because of this I would really appreciate it if another editor could review my proposal and make the edits if possible. The following sentences detail recent recognition that Leslie has received for her work with JESS3; I think they would work best at the end of the Awards and recognition section:

In 2012, Bradshaw’s work at JESS3 led Inc. to name her one of the top 30 entrepreneurs under 30.[1] Also that year, she was featured by Mashable in its list of 44 "accomplished female founders".[2]

Changes to reflect new role

{{request edit}}

Hi, once again I'm looking for some help in updating this article, this time to reflect that Leslie has left JESS3 and is now the COO at Guide. As I'm here on Leslie's behalf, I'd rather not make any changes myself. Instead, I'll detail the changes below (there are 5 in total) and I'd very much appreciate if another editor could review what I propose and make the edits if they agree with them.

1. In the introduction, I'd like to propose the following change of wording, including an edit to her former role at JESS3, which should be "chief operating officer" not "chief operations officer", and adding a sentence to note her new role at Guide:

Leslie Ann Bradshaw, an American businesswoman, is the former chief operating officer, president and co-founder of JESS3. She received recognition for her work at JESS3, including being named by Fast Company as one of the top female executives in the technology industry. In January 2013, she became the chief operating officer of technology startup Guide.

2. In the JESS3 section, a few changes in tense are needed ("is" to "was" and "has grown" to "grew") and I'd also like to propose adding a new sentence explaining that she left the company:

Bradshaw left JESS3 in December 2012.[1]

3. In Other roles, I suggest removing the beginning of the first sentence:

In addition to her role at JESS3, Bradshaw contributes to Forbes.com

4. I would also like to propose some new text to describe her role at her new company, which I think would work well below the JESS3 section:

Guide
In January 2013, Bradshaw joined Guide, a technology startup developing an app to translate text from online news sources and blogs into streaming audio and video.[1][2] She is the company's chief operating officer.[3]

5. In addition to the above changes, it would also be great to have the link to the JESS3 website in the External links replaced with a link to the Guide website.

If you have any questions at all about the above changes, please let me know. This page is on my watchlist, so I'll see any replies here and will get back to you as soon as I can. Thanks, 16912 Rhiannon (Talk · COI) 17:29, 17 January 2013 (UTC)
