Intelligence Citations Bibliography for Articles Related to IQ Testing[edit]

You may find it helpful while reading or editing articles to look at a bibliography of Intelligence Citations, posted for the use of all Wikipedians who have occasion to edit articles on human intelligence and related issues. I happen to have circulating access to a huge academic research library at a university with an active research program in these issues (and to another library that is one of the ten largest public library systems in the United States) and have been researching these issues since 1989. You are welcome to use these citations for your own research. You can help other Wikipedians by suggesting new sources through comments on that page. It will be extremely helpful for articles on human intelligence to edit them according to the Wikipedia standards for reliable sources for medicine-related articles, as it is important to get these issues as well verified as possible. -- WeijiBaikeBianji (talk) 19:51, 30 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

How many see also links?[edit]

I see another editor is, among other activities, adding a lot of See also links to this article. Noting that the last edit I made on this article's talk page was a link to a source list, I'm wondering what the sources actually say about the connection between Lewis Terman and his life and many of the topics of the articles mentioned in the see also links. What sources connect Terman to each of those topics? -- WeijiBaikeBianji (talk, how I edit) 01:50, 6 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Birth Place Changes[edit]

I would suggest adding "United States" Or "United States of America" after listing the state which he was born in and the state that he died in. For example, "Johnson County, Indiana, United States". This helps makes things a little less West-centered, since we tend to specify the country when talking about individuals born in Africa or even Europe. I also suggest revising the information concerning Terman's birth place. It states in one the paragraph on his early life that he was born in Indianapolis, while on the side bar it says "Johnson County." Correct me if I'm wrong, but Indianapolis is located in Marion County. I've looked at a few other biographies online and it seems as if Johnson County is the right birth place. [1]

Done. I found a book listing it as Johnson County. The autobiography listed in the Further Reading section also has it as Johnson County. Terman says it is only 17 miles from Indianapolis, so that's probably where the confusion comes in. Larry Hockett (Talk) 02:55, 21 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
