All Souls Church[edit]

Although it is claimed in All Souls' Church, Blackman Lane that "All Souls' Church was built by public subscription in one of the poorest districts of Leeds, the Leylands, as a memorial to Dr W. F. Hook", it seems to me that Blackman Lane is far away from the Leylands. Moreover the Leylands had a predominantly Irish (Catholic) and Jewish community, not C of E. I have therefore removed it.
