Grammar/wording[edit]

Does anyone else feel like this article needs a massive rewrite/polishing in terms of the way it's worded? It comes off as if it was written by a non-native English speaker, but I wouldn't even know how to start to approach fixing this page since I'm not familiar enough with the material.
