New Topic and Expansion of Topics[edit]

Plan on expanding the History section to further elaborate on the history of the Liftback and mention notable eras of this design. Also plan on adding a new topic: Characteristics. I plan on talking about what makes the Liftback unique and the general characteristics of the design. Also plan on adding to the general section to add more detail.

Suggested merger[edit]

Suggested merger, since Combi coupé is a brand name for a liftback automobile.PLawrence99cx 04:58, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose, they are some differences in design. For instance compare spyder/convertible or targa top/T-top. // Liftarn
Since the article clearly states that Combi Coupé (TM) and liftback are the same thing, please modify the text and highlight exactly what these differences are. The examples you brought forward (spyder/convertible or targa top/T-top} in contrast, reflect types of vehicles that are clearly distinct subgroupings. For the current text to work, you need to delineate - f.ex. hatchback has two subgroupings the Combi Coupé (TM) and the liftback which are not the same because of the (fill in blank) mystery feature. 76.171.245.131 04:00, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Done and I've removed the tag. // Liftarn

Other cars[edit]

Suggest adding the 02-Present Mazda6 to 5 door Liftbacks —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.64.146.131 (talk) 17:13, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just in case anyone cares: Skoda Octavia (At least the "1U" version. Not sure about the current Octavia II.) Quite similar to the Mondeo: A silhouette closer to a VW Passat or Audi A4 sedan, but a really large boot opening, very comfortable for loading stuff. I'm probably going to miss this in my new car. --BjKa (talk) 12:22, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
