Any news about the track? Revdoctor 14:56, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of uncited content[edit]

The entire article was very detailed but remained almost entirely uncited for six months, so I've cut out pretty much all of it. Hopefully those that added all that detail will re-add it again with citations. Best, Markvs88 (talk) 01:44, 25 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The content has been re-added, but as the editor has asked for clarification on my talk page I will not revert it for now. Best, Markvs88 (talk) 18:06, 3 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It's been a week and no new communication nor work has been done to the article, so it's reverted. Best, Markvs88 (talk) 14:26, 11 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

History / prior to circuit / previous owner[edit]

There is no mention of the origin of the property:

Use as a quarry prior to the purchase and creation of the track

Purchase from / dealings with the previous owner - prior to the Skip Barber led investment group in the mid-80s

(there were many aspects of the previous owner known, but with facts not being exact: Greek shipping guy, Son of a Greek shipping guy, Spoiled son of a Greek shipping guy,... you get the idea.

(there was an aspect of the purchase agreement that he be given a prominent, and signed, parking spot near the tower. That sign was quickly removed (by Skip, I believe) immediately after the deal was done

Anyway... anyone with info or sources would be welcome

Thanks

Track Map[edit]

Please update the track map to include the Sam Posey Straight. Wolf O'Donnel (talk) 06:19, 27 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Track map is incorrect.[edit]

The current track map reflects proposed changes to the circuit and pit lane layout, only some of which came to fruition. The pit lane remained unchanged, as did turns 3 and 4. Only the uphill chicane, and west bend chicane were built. See accurate layout cited here: [1]
