Talk:Lime TV

The history of the WTV network is independent from the Lime efforts to continue it's mission. The acquisition of the brief-lived network is not the story of Wisdom's short life. Nor should it be a advertisement for Lime's noble and genuine efforts. The two subjects are separate.

== Attempted to remove bias ==

I have edited this article in an attempt to remove the bias that caused it to read like an advertisement. I have also updated it to reflect that the television network has gone off the air. Because of these changes and because there has been no discussion regarding this page thus far, I have removed the "advert" tag, but I certainly have no qualms putting it back in if there is a consensus that bias still remains.

Thank you for that important fact. I have added to this article, providing some background to the genesis of the Lime network. The story of the Wisdom TV network is colorful and perhaps a lesson to others considering a venture into alternative content media.

Yes, just reading through this and knowing a little bit of the story, it would be very helpful if other people with direct knowledge of the network, former employees, etc, came forward and contributed. It sounds like a fascinating story and and object lesson for anyone trekking into the frontiers of progressive content production. There seems to be a lot of embarrassment -- almost shame -- around the network. I encountered someone in SF who had contracted with the Turners for a bit of programming content. She described the network in terms far more extreme, dysfunctional and comical than what is reflected here in the post.
