Revised Lead Section[edit]

NPP requested that the lead be fleshed out with additional notability information. The proposed lead section below indicates Linda McClain has been a named or distinguished professor at two universities, which satisfies notability under the academics notability guideline:

Linda McClain is the Robert B. Kent Professor of Law at Boston University School of Law[1] and was previously the Rivkin Radler Distinguished Professor of Law at Hofstra Law School.[2] She has served in professional organizations, including the Association of American Law Schools Section of Family and Juvenile Law,[3] to further feminist and family causes. McClain writes about classic liberal rights, abortion, sex equality, and the role of government in family life through a feminist lens.

Notes

  1. ^ Please note that this resolves any notability concerns, but does not resolve the {{lead too short}} maintenance template, which flags a completely separate set of concerns not involving notability. Those concerns are not resolved by the requested prose, as it does not adequately summarize the entirety of the article's main points.
