i want to ask in Linde AG, what does AG stands for?

and in Linde LE, what does LE stands for?

send information on this e-mail my e-mail id : <email removed by Seagull123 Φ at 14:14, 20 August 2020 (UTC)>[reply]

AG is short for Aktiengesellschaft

LE is commonly an abbreviation of Linde Engineering - the plant engineering part of the Linde Group.

Merging The Linde Group page with Linde AG[edit]

Linde AG is technically the name of the holding company, but the company branding is now 'The Linde Group'. The change occured when Linde acquired The BOC Group and spun out its material handling assets into a separate entity known as KION. I think the most sensible approach would be to have the Linde AG page redirect to The Linde Group, and merge any useful content from the former into the latter. Any other views? mike 21:54, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Strong merge:
Absolutely agree. On the Linde AG page, it clearly states that it is now known by the title of the other page, The Linde Group. To me, that is the merge format, leaving an article with the latter title. Refsworldlee(chew-fat)(eds) 16:26, 10 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK - have completed the merge and also updated some info on the page. Will redirect Linde AG. mike 19:10, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in The Linde Group[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of The Linde Group's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "AR2016":

  • From Deutsche Bank: "Deutsche Bank Annual Report 2016". Deutsche Bank. 20 March 2017. Retrieved 27 March 2017.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 20:19, 8 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Largest gas supplier?[edit]

The pages for Air liquide and Linde both state the company is the largest supplier of industrial gases by revenue. Which one is it?

134.245.221.86 (talk) 09:20, 19 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The last year for which we have complete results, 2022, L'Air Liquide S.A. had revenues of $32B. Linde plc's revenues were $33.4B. Technically then it's Linde, but it's by such a small margin that it's not exactly definitive. Not logged in 2 (talk) 12:40, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
