Just for (self-)reference, there is a series of posts on the Public 'Read Write Web' community group mailing list discussing how to improve this article. See here for the first message in this series, and April 2017 for the archives of said discussion.

As the creator of the article, I see nothing problematic in this particular off-wiki collaboration. I created this article because there was no clear, simple-to-read description of what LDP is.
