Plot

Remember we are not writing plot summaries here. DJ Clayworth 17:50, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

Why was my contribution on word etymology deleted? The word "cuddy" actually means a "stupid person". Sorry to break your delusions in your protected "wiki-ality"--your selective digital universe but that's the truth no matter how you try to censor reality.

We agree with you, Andy Rooney. The etymology was proven. They shouldn't have deleted your worthy contribution. We have experienced the same speculation. ~House DO

Do we really know for sure that she's Jewish? The only real evidence that I know of is the "J-date not working out?" remark, which could just be referencing her date with Wilson, who is firmly established as Jewish. 153.42.168.136 02:56, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

She's Jewish. If you pay carefull attenthttp://en.wikipedia.org/skins-1.5/common/images/button_sig.pngion you can see a menorah in both her office, and at home.--Master Shan 00:25, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

Is the best way to start her biography with a statements about her religion? As a first paragraph, I think the fact becomes over-emphasized. As said above, her faith is rarely mentioned or noticed. For correctness, I think we should introduce Cuddy with something more relevant. The current second paragraph (about the "Humpty Dumpty" episode) provides more background, therefore a better introduction in my opinion, but is still not concise. Let's start broad, then work towards specifics. Teimu.tm 15:36, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

I moved it. Llamabr (talk) 15:54, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

Cuddy served in the IDF for a while, based on what House said in the latest episode Joy: "You're quitting, just like you quit IDF." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.65.206.147 (talk)

He said "IVF" (in vitro fertilization), not IDF. --Hnsampat (talk) 17:48, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

There's a diploma or certificate from UW-Milwaukee prevalent on her office wall. Any chance she did her undergrad there? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.160.197.219 (talk) 00:35, 26 March 2010 (UTC)

Perjury?

Do we even know for certain Cuddy committed perjury? Wouldn't it have been just as easy for her to actually put placebos in the pharmacy... that way even if she does come clean to the court, she hasn't actually fabricated evidence, so her name's clear. Otherwise, she would have no reign over House because if she revealed him to the court she, too, would face more charges.

Inferno 01:13, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

she tells house while is prison that he made her commit perjury Stewiechewie 19:58, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

Re: perjury

In "Words and Deeds", she tells House and Wilson that she committed perjury and falsified evidence - I'm pretty sure she was telling the truth and is just using the threat to try to get House to do what she wants. She's made several other threats like it before (threatening to fire him, etc.) but never goes through on them...I think she did the same thing here. Romdoll 04:52, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

Other than her confession to House and Wilson, we also see House passed out / overdosed on the stolen Oxy and alcohol and found in this state by Wilson. It seems unlikely that she actually thwarted House with placebos before he could steal them. Tegrenath 23:41, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

Specialty

I haven't seen mentioned in this article Cuddy's specialty which may be endocrinology according to what is mentioned in the third season of the show when House went to Cuddy's house "looking for an endocrinologist". Hope this may help. Beren88 05:36, 14 March 2007 (UTC)Beren 88Beren88 05:36, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

The most recent episode just revealed that she is an endocrinologist. vanis 02:37, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

Didn't House transfer from JHU after being kicked out by the Dean there? I think he then transfered to the University of Michigan where he finished his MD. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.114.252.226 (talk) 04:46, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

Sleeping with House?

I'm wondering if it's worth adding to the article the subtle clues as to Dr. House and Dr. Cuddy sleeping together which were presented by House in the episode "Mirror Mirror". I know that it's only speculation, and I haven't brushed up on my wiki rules as of late, but can it be added? In case you missed the comments I'm referring to, they include: A) Cuddy being on birth control, B) House knowing she's on birth control, and C) The conversation with Foreman where House said: "No one's going to be happy here... and Cuddy's going to end up pregnant." To which a baffled Dr. Foreman responds: "Are you saying... What does you having sex with-" The question is then deflected by House. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.222.162.168 (talk) 01:48, 30 December 2007 (UTC)

Merge proposal

Note: The merge suggestion was added by User:Eusebeus on 30 March 2008.

Waiting for the reason(s) behind the merge proposal. - Dudesleeper / Talk 18:27, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

Strongest possible keep. This is the de facto woman lead on a major TV show. She merits her own article. Tool2Die4 (talk) 14:38, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

Refs

I added a couple then my laziness kicked in. Here's a bit more.[1] [2] [3] - Peregrine Fisher (talk) 18:48, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

Tough as Nails?

She's not tough as nails, she's a push-over who is easily manipulated and bullied around by House, who she has virtually no control over... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.192.204.19 (talk) 15:28, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

Huddy Overload

This is an article about Lisa Cuddy, not a House/Cuddy shippers' manifesto. Play-by-plays of the (admittedly, Huddy laden) episodes of season 5 are not warranted. 03:02, 5 April 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by CrashCart9 (talkcontribs)

Agreed. I've added the "fancruft" template to that section.--Pat Berry (talk) 18:33, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

Section on why character was written out?

There are a lot of material (both authoritative and forum discussion) around discussing on why Ms. Edelstein left the show, should'nt the article on Lisa Cuddy explore as to why character was written out? LegalEagle (talk) 23:04, 11 January 2013 (UTC)

Spoiler in first section??

Why does there have to be a spoiler in the very first section of the page? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.231.214.20 (talk) 05:50, 22 February 2015 (UTC)
