Merge proposal[edit]

Rather than merging this article with List of U.S. presidential electors, I believe that both articles should remain separate. If there were to be a single article listing all the presidential electors since 1789, the page would be truly monstrous in size. A better solution would be to rename List of U.S. presidential electors to United States presidential electors, 2000 and have one article per presidential election. A link farm or category could be constructed for navigation among the various United States presidential electors, yyyy articles.

Oooo! That's good! I like it. —Mark Adler (markles) 18:18, 2 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

For North Carolina, Theresa Esposito was a member of the legislature in the late 1980s when I lived there. She was a moderate Republican from Winston-Salem. Chronicler3 18:19, 16 February 2006 (UTC) Chronicler3[reply]

Ohio--Carl Wick[edit]

Though Carl Wick was elected, for some reason he did not participate. His name is crossed out on the official certificate of the electoral vote at [1]. I've added the name Jon Allison in his place. PedanticallySpeaking 17:50, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

DC electors[edit]

Are their names accurate? (They are currently listed as the same as those of the Delaware electors - a remarkable coincidence?)
