Future of Olympic Games on Indonesian Television[edit]

I’ve been wondering out since the last time the Games were broadcasted on TVRI & RCTI but in 2020, Indonesian Olympic fans may miss out on the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1700:93B0:1350:DD52:88C8:B9D9:B23E (talk) 22:57, 2 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Olympic Games on Venezuelan Television[edit]

It’s been years since the Olympic Games last broadcasted on Venezuelan Television (both private and state-owned) well what network will broadcast the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1700:93B0:1350:31B8:20E1:6E02:F5B3 (talk) 21:49, 7 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Do you think Canal 12 (El Salvador) and RTS (Ecuador) might be added to the list?[edit]

So Canal 12 in El Salvador are airing the Games for the very first time as part of an exclusivity deal (replacing longtime broadcaster TCS’ Canal 4) Also, RTS in Ecuador (not to be confused with with the French broadcasting division of SRG SSR also acquired the rights to the Games. (replacing longtime broadcaster Teleamazonas) But however that was only acknowledged in commercials and not on their websites. Do you have Opinions? --VenezuelanSpongeBobFan2004 13:12, 23 May 2020

Chinese Taipei[edit]

There is very little reason that this list should be based on the participating NOC names as it is merely a list of broadcasters. Taiwan's name is not "Chinese Taipei," it does not use the Chinese Taipei Olympic flag, and Zhonghua telecom does not serve "Chinese Taipei." Additionally, if it actually was based on NOCs, then Russia should not be on this list (and "refugee olympic team" would be on it). Please change Taiwan's name and flag back to what it should be.--23.240.160.134 (talk) 22:06, 21 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I do not want to buy your reason that Taiwan or Chinese Taipei, it's been debate for years, for decade, from politival point of view, or whatever, it won't harm if stay as Chinese Taipei as the article of Chinese Taipei already mentioned about it, and that is how IOC awarding it! If you mentioned about Russia, the banned was effective from 2019, and the broadcasting rights may awarded before, is still a NOC and a country. --Aleenf1 01:48, 23 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

In India, the Olympics are also broadcasted on Sony Sports. This includes Sony Ten 1, 2, 3, 4 and Sony Liv. Doordarshan are not the only registered broadcasters. I request you change it to allow all the broadcasters for ease of access. LeoJit15 (talk) 08:57, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 11:49, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Eurosport airing in Poland[edit]

TVP has indeed purchased airing rights from Eurosport/Discovery, but they are not exclusive, and Eurosport also airs in Poland with their own Polish commentary.
