No discussion required concerning removal of potential WP:BLP violations, with no sources whatsoever to back up "Cambodian American." Bulldog 22:19, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

Restored, with source. Please do not continue to blank text from our articles without first actively searching for sources, especially when they are actually contained in the individual's WP page. We must all work hard to make our articles the best they can be. Blanking without doing two or three minutes of prior research is simply not helpful to our users, who expect the best and most complete information possible on this subject. Thank you for this consideration. Badagnani (talk) 23:35, 18 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What is there you STILL don't understand? It's been said so often and repeated so many times. Talk:List of Norwegian Americans#Sources, Talk:List of Danish Americans#Sources, Talk:List of Russian Americans#Sources. Just because you choose to ignore it, doesn't make it go away. Here we go again:
A) IMDB is not a reliable source. If you don't believe me, take it up on the Reliable source Noticeboard.
B) This is not a list of "half-Cambodian" "half-Thai"-Americans. If you want to create a whole new list for her, fine. It's stupid, but legitimate.
C) Three sources saying the same thing isn't going to make it any stronger.
We're done here, and each time you source like this, I will revert you. Bulldog 05:44, 19 September 2008 (UTC)

Please refrain from needlessly hyperaggressive rhetoric. All of the above is a misreading of our policy and guidelines. A Cambodian American is an American of Cambodian heritage and the three (not one, but three) sources are fine--two interviews and the primary Internet database regarding film. Please see the Cambodian American article (have you read it?), whose lead states, "A Cambodian American is an American who is of ethnic Khmer descent or, more broadly, having ancestors from Cambodia."
