Focus[edit]

Today I added Allstate of Canada to the list (my wife works there). The company isn't Canadian as far as I'm concerned, but if the list includes AXA and State Farm, then Allstate should be there too. Whoever is managing this list should consider breaking out the truly Canadian companies from the international subsidiaries that play in the marketplace. Not sure where this list comes from, but is difficult to find a lot of info. Insurance Institute of Canada had a link to 'Insurance Employers' but the link was broken. Insurance Bureau of Canada has a report: http://assets.ibc.ca/Documents/Facts%20Book/Facts_Book/2018/IBC-Fact-Book-2018.pdf That lists the top 20 by premium (below), as well as a section on IBC Members which seems to show sub-companies too.
